We currently have two positions available at our Sunshine Coast campus in Cooroy, Queensland, Australia.


 Part-Time  Admin Assistant (Office all-rounder)

Job Title: Part-Time Admin Assistant (Office All-Rounder)

Location: Cooroy - Queensland, Australia. 

Hours: 3 days per week, 18  hours total (Monday to Wednesday, 9 am to 3 pm)

Compensation: $25 per hour - permanent part-time - Superannuation provided. 
wage review after the initial three-month probation/training period.

We are looking for a reliable and organized Part-Time Admin Assistant (Office All-Rounder) to join our team.
This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle a variety of administrative tasks in a professional and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Support:
    • Respond to student inquiries via email and telephone.
    • Maintain accurate student records in the student databases.
    • Record student attendance for on-campus classes.
    • Process enrollments, extensions, and deferment requests, and record/monitor student progress.
    • Handle student payment plans and follow up on late payments.
    • Process and prepare graduation certificates.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative assistance to fellow team members, the office manager, and the CEO.
    • Liaise with teachers and course assessors to facilitate communication and support.
    • Check post/mailbox and run errands such as collecting printing and supplies procurement locally (all a short walk away).
  • Office Management:
    • Answer telephone calls and email inquiries, take messages, and provide necessary information.
    • Help maintain a clean and organized working environment, including tasks like emptying bins and vacuuming.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work as part of a multi-functional team across various areas within a small, professional office setting.
    • Interact with students and potential students on-campus, online, via email, and over the phone.
    • help set up classrooms with teachers.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Must love dogs as a support dog is part of our office team
